CJ Olive Young is launching an entry event for the 'Neighborhood Walk' goods, released in collaboration with the local community service Danggeun Market.
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] CJ Olive Young announced on the 5th that it will start an application event for the ‘Neighborhood Walk’ goods, launched in collaboration with the local community service Danggeun Market.
The Neighborhood Walk goods consist of Neighborhood Walk slippers and two types of bags. The slippers feature Danggeun Market’s mascot, Danggeun, with the phrase ‘Danggeuniseyo’ combined with ‘Olive Young’ to create ‘Danggeuniseyoung?’ on its face. The bags display the phrase ‘Olyeonggapnidang’ along with an image of Danggeun wearing the Neighborhood Walk goods and heading to Olive Young. Both products are made from eco-friendly materials.
The Neighborhood Walk goods can be applied for on the event page within the Olive Young mobile application until the 15th. Any Olive Young mobile app member can participate, and the application is completed by selecting the slipper size (M/L) and the store for pickup. Winners will be announced on the 16th, with 20,000 people randomly selected to receive both types of goods. Winners must visit the selected store by the 22nd to collect their goods.
Starting with this application event, Olive Young plans to carry out various unique marketing activities with Danggeun Market throughout this month. In addition to limited-edition goods, Olive Young will offer benefits at key nearby stores using Danggeun Market’s service, and Danggeun Market plans to expand brand touchpoints and service experiences offline through Olive Young stores.
From the 16th, users can check information on nearby Olive Young stores in the ‘Nearby’ tab within the Danggeun Market app, and by receiving coupons from the Olive Young Biz Profile and visiting the corresponding stores, hand sanitizers engraved with the Danggeun character will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, until the 31st, a collaboration popup zone will be operated at the Olive Young Gangnam flagship store.
An Olive Young official said, “As this is the first unique collaboration between Olive Young and Danggeun Market, we have prepared limited-edition goods such as slippers and bags that have higher collectible value and usability than ever before,” adding, “At the Gangnam flagship popup zone, which will operate until the 31st, visitors will also be able to experience the vivid brand sensibilities of Danggeun Market and Olive Young.”
