According to the police on the 3rd, the Dongdaemun Police Station in Seoul announced on the 3rd that Kim Mo was arrested on charges including injury.
Kim is accused of entering a store in Dongdaemun-gu around 10:30 a.m. on the 28th of last month with a stocking pulled over his face, overpowering the victim to sexually assault her, and injuring her by punching her in the face. It is known that he did not steal any money or items from the store.
After the crime, he fled to a nearby redevelopment area with few people, but was caught in the act by police officers who responded to a 112 emergency call. Kim initially denied the charges but confessed to the crime after police questioned him based on witness statements. The court issued an arrest warrant for Kim at the end of last month upon the police's request.
