Dongkuk Steel, Expanding Recruitment... Conducts Second Open Recruitment This Year


[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Dongkuk Steel, which doubled the scale of its open recruitment for new employees in the first half of this year, will also conduct open recruitment in the second half.


On the 30th, Dongkuk Steel announced that it will openly recruit new university graduate employees and experienced workers in the second half of this year. Initially, the plan was to hire only junior employees who are current students, but the company decided to increase the recruitment scale in response to the social call for corporate job creation.


Recruitment will be conducted in fields such as HR, legal affairs, production management, sales, marketing, production, safety, environment, design, accounting, public relations, planning, purchasing, and administration at business sites in Seoul, Incheon, Busan, Pohang, and Dangjin. The application deadline is July 4.


Dongkuk Steel's junior employee system for current students selects students in the first semester of their senior year who are expected to graduate in February 2022. Unlike typical corporate internships, 100% employment is guaranteed upon graduation. During the second semester, the junior program is conducted with one day of attendance per week, and a fixed monthly academic support fee is provided.
