Additional Discounts for Business Expense Categories and Overseas Usage When Selecting Credit Card
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] NH Nonghyup Card announced on the 28th that it has launched the 'Soho Dasaroi Card,' which offers unlimited basic discount benefits and additional/special discounts when used in areas specialized for individual business owners.
This card was released in two types of credit cards (Standard and Plus grades) and one type of check card. It provides a 'basic discount' without any monthly spending requirements or discount limits, and a 'special discount' for automatic payments of the four major social insurances and electricity bills, which are commonly applied. The two credit card types also offer 'additional discounts' for business expense categories and overseas usage amounts.
The credit cards provide a 0.5% basic discount at all domestic and overseas merchants without any monthly spending conditions, unlimited. For major business expense categories, an additional 0.5% discount is given, and for overseas usage amounts, an additional 1% discount is applied, allowing a maximum discount of 1.5%. A 5% special discount is offered for automatic payments of the four major social insurances and electricity bills.
The additional discount targets five categories: ▲fuel ▲golf ▲online shopping ▲offline shopping ▲telecommunications, as well as all overseas merchants, and is provided when the previous month's spending is 500,000 KRW or more. The discount limit is a combined 50,000 KRW per month, and even if the additional discount limit is exceeded, the basic discount continues to be provided. The special discount is provided when the previous month's spending is 500,000 KRW or more, with a discount limit of 5,000 KRW per transaction and a combined monthly limit of 10,000 KRW.
The Plus grade 'Soho Dasaroi+ Card' offers even greater additional and special discount benefits. When the previous month's spending is 1,500,000 KRW or more, the additional discount rate increases (1% for business expense categories, 1.5% for overseas usage), allowing a maximum discount of 2%. Additionally, the special discount areas are expanded to include a 30% discount on payments at Starbucks (including Siren Pay) and on regular payments for Netflix and Melon.
The check card provides a 0.2% basic discount at all domestic and overseas merchants without any monthly spending conditions, unlimited. When the previous month's spending is 300,000 KRW or more, a 3% special discount is provided for the four major social insurances and electricity bills, with a combined monthly discount limit of 3,000 KRW.
The annual fee is 12,000 KRW for both domestic-only and domestic/overseas combined (Master) cards. The Plus grade annual fee is 23,000 KRW for domestic-only and 25,000 KRW for domestic/overseas combined (Master). The check card has no annual fee.
Additionally, services such as VAT refund support and free issuance of electronic tax invoices are provided through the 'Chaeum Individual Business Owner Special Service (Tax Support Service).'
