Eunpyeong-gu Waives Usage Fees for Visiting Toy 'Bboongbboongi' for Vaccinated Individuals

Free Shipping Twice a Month from July to December for Members Who Completed the First COVID-19 Vaccination

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Eunpyeong-gu (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) announced that it will waive the usage fee for the visiting toy service 'Boongboongi' as one of the various benefits provided to those who have completed the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

'Boongboongi' is a character whose name means it zooms over whenever called, offering a service where members of Toyland can rent and return toys at home on desired dates without having to visit in person. This service is available to all Toyland members and operates by reservation at the Eunpyeong-gu Childcare Support Center website's Toyland 'Bukhansan Raemian Branch.'

According to the Seoul Eunpyeong-gu Ordinance on the Installation and Operation of Toyland, the delivery fee is 3,000 KRW (rental + return) or 2,500 KRW (rental or return). From July 1 to December 31, members who have completed the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine can receive a waiver of delivery fees twice a month upon verification of their vaccination certificate.

Additionally, basic livelihood security recipients, children with disabilities, and families with two or more children (including pregnant women expecting a second child) who are already receiving exemptions can also receive additional exemption benefits as vaccination incentives upon verification of their vaccination certificate.

Kim Mi-kyung, Mayor of Eunpyeong-gu, stated, "Through incentives provided to those who have completed the first dose of the vaccine, we hope to support residents' return to daily life and increase vaccination participation rates so that we can return to a life free from COVID-19 as soon as possible."
