[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ji-hee] Jeong Se-gyun, former Prime Minister and presidential candidate of the Democratic Party of Korea, emphasized the need for a morally impeccable candidate "who can withstand relentless media exposure."

On the 27th, Jeong attended the launch ceremony of the support organization 'Gyunhyeong Sadari' Gwangju-Jeonnam headquarters held at the Kim Dae-jung Convention Center in Gwangju, stating, "I confidently say that I am among the top 1% of politicians in terms of morality." He stressed, "We must unite as one without conflict and division to achieve victory," adding, "I have protected the party and united it during difficult times."

He continued, "Based on insight and experience, we must provide stability rather than anxiety, and trust rather than distrust," raising his voice, "Who can earn the people's trust with reliable policies? Who can achieve regime re-creation with stable competence?"
