[Asia Economy Reporter Jo Gang-wook] Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced on the 25th that subscription applications for 1,582 public sale housing units in Block A-54 of the Pyeongtaek Godeok Internationalization Planning District will begin on the 5th of next month.
The public sale housing units to be supplied this time will be constructed as a single exclusive area of 59㎡, divided by housing type into △59A with 1,369 units, △59B with 177 units, and △59C with 36 units.
Among these, 1,342 units will be supplied under special supply categories such as multi-child families, newlyweds, and first-time homebuyers, while 240 units will be supplied under the general supply category. However, if the total application volume for special supply by housing type is undersubscribed, the remaining units will be converted to general supply. The supply price averages 312 million KRW per unit, approximately 12 million KRW per 3.3㎡.
Applicants must be adult members of non-homeowner households residing nationwide. All applicants must have subscribed to a housing subscription savings account (comprehensive housing subscription savings or subscription savings), with different qualification requirements such as subscription period and number of payments depending on the supply category.
The supply categories are divided into special supply (△institutional recommendation and national merit △newlyweds △first-time homebuyers △elderly parent support △multi-child families) and general supply. In the event of competition within the same priority rank, residents of Pyeongtaek City are given priority supply according to the priority supply ratio, and the regional resident supply ratio varies by supply category.
Applicants for special supply categories for newlyweds, first-time homebuyers, elderly parent support, multi-child families, and general supply must meet income and asset ownership criteria for all members of the non-homeowner household. However, for general supply, application priority varies by qualification, and in the case of competition within the same priority rank in the same region, selection is made in order of △non-homeowner household members for over 3 years with the highest total savings amount △highest total savings amount.
Restrictions include a 10-year re-winning restriction, a 3-year resale restriction period, and no mandatory residence period.
The supply schedule is △subscription application (July 5th to 7th) △winner announcement (July 19th) △contract signing (October 4th to 8th). Subscription application dates vary by supply category, and contract signing is conducted separately through electronic contracts and on-site contracts.
The Pyeongtaek Godeok Internationalization Planning District is a self-sufficient international new city with an area of 13,409,000㎡ and a planned population of 140,000. It is easy to move to each specialized zone via the BRT line circulating inside the new city, and access to Seojeong-ri Station on Subway Line 1 and Pyeongtaek Jije Station on the SRT is convenient.
