[Asia Economy Reporter Ryu Jeong-min] Lee Cheol-hee, Senior Secretary for Political Affairs at the Blue House, appeared on JTBC's 'Ssuljeon Live' on the 24th and addressed the controversy surrounding Park Seong-min, the newly appointed Youth Secretary, stating, "Secretary Park is someone who has proven his abilities through various activities in the political arena."

Lee said, "Please watch to see if he is capable of handling the role, at least for the time being," adding, "(If there is controversy) I will take responsibility." He also mentioned that Secretary Park was selected because he sincerely represents the voices of youth and has received positive evaluations from the party.

Lee also noted that Lee Jun-seok, leader of the People Power Party, gave a positive evaluation of Secretary Park. Lee said, "When I casually exchanged private talks with Lee Jun-seok, he said, 'Among the young female figures in the ruling party, Secretary Park is decent and excellent.'"

However, regarding the criticism that Secretary Park, who is in his 20s, entered a high-ranking position too early, he expressed his willingness to listen humbly.

Regarding his evaluation of Leader Lee, Lee Cheol-hee used the term "excellent" and did not hold back his praise. On the issue of participating as a judge in the 'debate battle' for selecting the People Power Party spokesperson, he also expressed that it would be difficult to participate due to concerns about the party's support base.
