[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] The Korea International Trade Association (KITA) announced on the 25th that it will hold a briefing session regarding the exemption from self-quarantine for COVID-19 vaccinated individuals entering the country starting July 1.
The briefing will be live-streamed at 3 PM on July 1 via KITA's YouTube channel. KITA plans to provide guidance on how domestic residents who have completed vaccination in Korea can be exempted from self-quarantine when entering from abroad, as well as how overseas vaccinated individuals can apply for self-quarantine exemption.
Jo Hak-hee, Head of KITA's International Business Division, stated, "This measure will greatly help the movement of domestic and international businesspeople and the revitalization of business activities. From the second half of the year, as we enter the COVID-19 recovery phase, we will support the trade industry in various ways to expand overseas market entry."
