Baedal Minjok Participates in 'Korea Together Sale'... Up to 30% Discount on Local Specialties

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baedal Minjok, announced on the 24th that it will participate in the '2021 Korea Together Sale' hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.


The Korea Together Sale is a large-scale consumption promotion event designed to revive the domestic market, which has been stagnant due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, and to support the sales channels of small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners.


The event, which runs until the 11th of next month, will feature major online and offline retailers such as department stores, marts, and home shopping, as well as traditional markets and small business owners, offering various discount promotions.


Baedal Minjok will introduce excellent products from small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners and help expand their sales channels through the regional specialty direct delivery service 'Jeon-guk Byeolmi' and live commerce 'Baemin Shopping Live.'


First, a special sale offering up to 30% discounts on regional specialties listed on Jeon-guk Byeolmi will be held until the 4th of next month. 'Gosurok Saengmosi Chapssaltteok (24 pieces, 1 box),' made from moshi leaves, a specialty of Seocheon, Chungnam, is sold at 7,500 KRW with a 30% discount, and 'Samsam Seafood Clam Vongole Pasta Meal Kit (1 pack, 880g),' containing domestic clams harvested in Jangmok-myeon, Geoje, Gyeongnam, is sold at 11,900 KRW with a 20% discount.


Popular local representative foods such as Andong Hahoedang Spicy Chicken Stew (1kg, 16,200 KRW), Jeju Haenyeo's Kitchen Horned Turban Shell Sauce (200g, 12,200 KRW), and Daegu Kimakare (250g, 5,900 KRW) are also offered at prices about 10-30% cheaper than usual.


Baemin Shopping Live will hold a total of 10 special broadcasts until the 7th of next month, showcasing various products produced by domestic small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners, including agricultural and marine products, meat, and processed foods.


In the special broadcast at 5 p.m. on the 24th, 'Chuncheon Cafe Gamjabat's' potato bread and corn bread will be prepared with free shipping so customers can conveniently enjoy them at home. At 6 p.m., YouTuber Jeongyukwang will introduce 'Hongcheon Hanwoo Village Hanwoo.' On the 30th at 5 p.m., 'Lala Sweet Ice Cream 12 types' will be offered at discounts of up to 49%.
