Homeplus held the 'Good Consumption Challenge Children's Clothing Special Exhibition' on the 23rd at Areumdawoon Store Gangseo Hwagok Branch.
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Homeplus announced on the 24th that it held a ‘Good Consumption Challenge Children’s Clothing Special Exhibition’ to practice neighborly love together with the Homeplus e-Paran Foundation at the Beautiful Store Gangseo Hwagok branch the day before.
Homeplus donated about 4,500 sample garments used for photographing new clothing items from its fashion brand F2F before selling them in stores to the Beautiful Store, and selected about 500 children’s clothing items from these to sell through a special exhibition at the Beautiful Store Gangseo Hwagok branch.
Citizens visiting the Beautiful Store were able to purchase sample garments of quality similar to new products at affordable prices, and the proceeds created a virtuous cycle of good consumption used to help marginalized neighbors.
A Homeplus official said, “By donating sample garments that cannot be sold in stores but have quality similar to new products, we were able to establish a virtuous cycle that contributes to helping the environment and marginalized neighbors,” adding, “We plan to accelerate the company’s ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management by preparing various forms of social contribution activities in the future.”
