On the 24th, models are showcasing new products such as Gongjubam charcoal and oak firewood at Homeplus Gangseo Branch in Deungchon-dong, Seoul.
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Homeplus announced on the 24th that it has pre-planned with the Gongju Chestnut Research Institute in Chungnam to launch 'Gongju Chestnut Charcoal,' an eco-friendly grilling charcoal made from Gongju chestnuts and yellow soil, for the first time in offline distribution, and will sell it at a 10% discount until the 28th of next month.
The Gongju Chestnut Charcoal in a can product is a large charcoal brazier can package containing a large amount of charcoal. The large can in which the product is packaged can be used as a brazier, and it features a heat output that lasts up to 8 hours, allowing you to enjoy barbecue and fire-watching simultaneously.
The premium Gongju Chestnut Charcoal (10kg), introduced at 20 Homeplus Special stores nationwide, is sold at a 20% discount for 19,900 KRW. Although it is a large 10kg product, it is composed of 4 packs, so it can be used in small portions.
A Homeplus official said, “We have newly introduced various types of charcoal and firewood that can enhance the style and taste of camping, differentiating ourselves from competitors. We hope customers will experience a variety of new camping products, such as the practical Gongju Chestnut Charcoal and firewood, exclusively available offline at Homeplus.”
