[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] CJ OnStyle announced on the 23rd that it will specially schedule European travel package broadcasts planned with the travel agency Norang Poongseon on the 26th and 27th.
On the 26th, a 6-night 7-day package covering four Eastern European countries (Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary) will be introduced. The selling price is 499,900 KRW, which includes hotel accommodations, meals, and sightseeing for all scheduled activities except for airfare. It also includes overseas travel insurance coverage up to 100 million KRW. By adding 200,000 KRW, the package can be changed to an 8-night 9-day trip covering the four Eastern European countries plus two Balkan countries, and by adding 400,000 KRW, it can be extended to a 10-night 11-day trip covering the four Eastern European countries plus three Balkan countries.
CJ OnStyle will also broadcast a Western Europe package for the first time since COVID-19 on the 27th. This package includes a 6-night 7-day trip to France, Switzerland, and Italy. This package also includes local tour products (accommodation, sightseeing, meals, insurance) excluding airfare, all for 599,900 KRW.
Both products allow customers to freely schedule their departure dates for up to two years from the reservation date. Changes to the travel destination or package transfers are possible up to one month before departure, and 100% cancellation and refund are available within one year after payment.
A CJ OnStyle representative said, “Since overseas travel is allowed in a limited way mainly for groups, we designed this package prioritizing customer benefits. We will strive to seek better products while coexisting with the travel industry, which has suffered due to COVID-19.”
Meanwhile, CJ OnStyle resumed sales of Eastern European products for the first time in the industry since COVID-19. The three popular European itinerary packages launched with Norang Poongseon on the 6th attracted 52,000 customer reservations in about an hour of broadcasting. The payment amount exceeded approximately 20 billion KRW, marking the highest performance in domestic home shopping travel broadcasts.
