Lotte Mart will hold a sale event offering discounts on popular seafood products at all stores from the 24th to the 30th.

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Lotte Mart announced on the 23rd that it will hold a sale event offering discounts on popular seafood products at all stores from the 24th to the 30th.

For this event, freshwater eel, Wando abalone, and Jeju silver hairtail have been prepared. L.POINT members can receive a 20% discount when purchasing with the event card. The representative product, a whole cleaned freshwater eel (around 1kg), is available for 39,840 KRW. The freshwater eels, carefully managed from fry at designated farms, are sold cleaned with heads and intestines removed for easy home cooking.

Since January, Lotte Mart has been continuously conducting the "Korea Seafood Grand Sale" in cooperation with the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries to support fishing households struggling due to COVID-19 and to promote seafood consumption by selecting and discounting various seafood products.

A Lotte Mart official said, "As summer arrives early, demand for seafood that helps restore energy has increased, so we have prepared affordable seafood such as eel and abalone," adding, "We plan to continue offering events that ease the burden on customers' shopping baskets."
