Geumcheon-gu Hosts 2022 Academic Year Early Admission Fair and Online Entrance Examination Briefing

Geumcheon-gu Hosts 2022 Academic Year Early Admission Fair and Online Entrance Examination Briefing


[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yuseong Hoon) will hold an online college entrance briefing session on July 2nd at 7 PM to support the establishment of the 2022 academic year college entrance strategy, and a regular admission fair on July 3rd at 1 PM with participation from 11 major universities.


Due to COVID-19, the briefing session will be conducted online, and the regular admission fair will operate on a first-come, first-served basis with a reservation system limited to 50 people in accordance with quarantine guidelines. Only one additional person (parent or child) besides the applicant is allowed to participate in the admission fair.


The "Online College Entrance Briefing Session" to support the establishment of regular and junior college application strategies will be held live via the Geumcheon Career and College Support Center YouTube channel, with Part 1 titled "2022 Academic Year Regular Admission Strategy Viewed Through Big Data" and Part 2 titled "2022 Academic Year in an Era of Change, Junior College Application Strategy."


Part 1 includes ▲Review of major issues in the 2022 academic year college entrance ▲Regular admission strategies through case studies ▲Application strategies for acceptance, and Part 2 covers ▲Which junior colleges have good employment rates? ▲Characteristics of junior college admission processes ▲Establishing junior college application strategies.


At the "Regular Admission Fair" providing 2022 academic year college entrance regular admission strategies, 11 universities including ▲Gachon University ▲Kyung Hee University ▲Kwangwoon University ▲Myongji University ▲University of Seoul ▲Sungshin Women’s University ▲Sejong University ▲Ajou University ▲Inha University ▲Hankuk University of Foreign Studies ▲Hongik University will participate, with admissions officers from each university offering 1:1 customized counseling on admission procedures.


Applications for the briefing session and admission fair will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until July 1st through the dedicated website of the Geumcheon Career and College Support Center. All participants will receive the 2022 academic year placement data booklet.


Meanwhile, to provide tailored career and college entrance information to residents and establish a public education-centered career and college support system, the district established the Geumcheon Career and College Support Center on the 5th floor of Geumcheon M Tower (73-gil 67, Siheung-daero) last May.


By adding the Geumcheon Career and College Support Center KakaoTalk channel as a friend and following on Instagram, various information about center facility use and program operations can be received.


Geumcheon-gu Mayor Yuseong Hoon stated, “Through the online college entrance briefing session and regular admission fair, local students and parents will be able to receive customized admission counseling for their desired universities without visiting the universities in person,” and added, “We will continue to provide practical and accurate entrance information centered on the Geumcheon Career and College Support Center.”
