At Gangbuk Learning Center (145 Ohyeon-ro), customized programs for children and adults have been prepared for the summer vacation and holiday season.

The themes are spending summer with nature and specialized education for employment preparation.

The target applicants for the summer program 'I Will Remember You' are elementary school students in grades 3 to 6. The other programs, 'Summer Walk Diary' and employment education, are open to residents and workers in local businesses within the district.

The number of participants is limited to 9 per program.

'I Will Remember You' involves meeting mountain birds at Odong Neighborhood Park at the foot of Opaesan Mountain and having time to reflect on a better global environment. In 'Summer Walk Diary,' learners walk along forest trails, observe insects and creatures living there, and keep their own records.

Employment education includes ▲ YouTuber School for middle-aged learners starting from the basics ▲ Korean History Proficiency Test preparation class ▲ Six-week Vietnamese language course ▲ Chinese Language Proficiency Test HSK preparation class, conducted on weekdays and Saturdays.

The tuition fee for employment education ranges from 30,000 to 45,000 KRW depending on the number of sessions, with additional material costs possibly applied.

The summer programs only require a material fee of 5,000 KRW. Interested individuals can apply through the Gangbuk-gu Neul Learning Center website. Selected participants will receive individual notification messages.

For further inquiries, contact the Education Support Division of the district office.

Mayor Park Kyum-soo of Gangbuk-gu said, "This lecture will provide elementary students with a meaningful experience of meeting mountain birds and help adults find relaxation in daily life and prepare for employment. I hope learners' new experiences will transform into living knowledge."
