[Photo] Jungnang-gu Conducts Drill at Second Vaccination Center

[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) conducted a simulation drill on the 22nd at the 2nd Vaccination Center established in the Jungnang-gu Office.

This drill was organized to closely examine the entire operation process and prepare for unexpected situations ahead of the center's opening in July. The entire process, from filling out the preliminary examination form, registration, preliminary examination, vaccination, registration, observation for adverse reactions, to emergency treatment, was conducted as if in a real situation.

Ryu Kyung-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu, stated, "The installation of the 2nd Vaccination Center is expected to accelerate the return to normal life," and added, "We will strive to complete the first dose for 70% of residents by the end of September to achieve herd immunity."

At the Jungnang-gu 2nd Vaccination Center, vaccinations will be administered from July to residents aged 18 to 59, with a daily capacity of 720 vaccinations. Operating hours are weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (vaccination hours from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.).
