Gochang County Governor Yugi-sang Participates in Unified Rice Planting Event

[Gochang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jae-gil] Yoo Gi-sang, former governor of Gochang County, Jeonbuk, personally participated in the Gochang County Farmers' Association Unification Rice Planting event held on the morning of the 22nd in Seokgyo-ri, Heungdeok-myeon.

According to the county on that day, this event has been held continuously to commemorate the June 15th North-South Joint Declaration and to create a breakthrough in the deadlocked inter-Korean relations at the civilian level.

Governor Yoo and other participants carefully carried out rice planting with the spirit of sowing the seeds of peaceful unification even under the scorching sun.

The Gochang County Farmers' Association, which organized this event, holds various policy meetings and events in the agricultural sector and actively pursues civilian efforts for peace settlement between South and North Korea, such as the Unification Tractor Sending Campaign and the Unification Rice Sending event.
