When you apply to participate in Creating a Forest Where Animals Are Happy, you will receive a Jipsitong containing acorn tree seeds delivered to your home. You need to grow the seeds for 100 days and then send them back to Noeul Park. The trees grown by customers will be nurtured for another 2 to 3 years in a tree nursery where forest trees grow before being transplanted to the forest.
Customers who wish to participate can apply on a first-come, first-served basis through the GS Shop 'Creating a Forest Where Animals Are Happy' page, and each person can apply for up to two Jipsitong. Once all 800 Jipsitong are allocated, participation applications will be closed even before the deadline.
A GS Shop official said, "To create a forest without waste, we are paying attention to small details such as minimizing packaging waste when delivering Jipsitong," and added, "We ask for a lot of interest and participation in forest creation activities not only for us but also for future generations."
