Gwangju University Conducts Online Training for Culinary Workers

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju University (President Kim Hyukjong) announced on the 22nd that the Gwangju Nam-gu Child Meal Management Support Center, which it operates on consignment, conducted real-time online training for local cooking workers.

This training was held on hygiene management such as personal hygiene management to prevent food poisoning, methods for measuring the core temperature of heated cooked foods, and Food Bridge nutrition education for correcting children's picky eating habits provided by the center.

Participants engaged in quiz solving through real-time comments, receiving positive responses as an interactive two-way education.

Seo Dongju, head of the Nam-gu Child Meal Management Support Center, said, "This cooking worker training was conducted to prevent the increased risk of food poisoning during the hot summer season."
