Lotte Construction announced on the 22nd that it plans to launch the 'Gangneung Lotte Castle Signature' apartments, supplied in the Gyodong area of Gangneung-si, Gangwon-do, in July.

The complex will be developed at 1018-1 Gyodong, Gangneung-si, consisting of 11 buildings with 3 basement floors and up to 29 floors above ground, totaling 1,305 households with exclusive areas ranging from 84 to 185㎡. By exclusive area, there are ▲1,031 units of 84㎡ ▲33 units of 93㎡ ▲6 units of 94㎡ ▲222 units of 114㎡ ▲2 units of T-135㎡ ▲2 units of T-136㎡ ▲1 unit of T-137㎡ ▲4 units of P-140㎡ ▲4 units of P-185㎡.

A specialized design mainly featuring 4Bay flat-type layouts is applied to provide excellent openness. The living room and kitchen are designed with a cross-ventilation structure for good airflow, and designs to enhance space utilization such as pantry rooms, dressing rooms, and powder rooms will also be applied throughout the home. Community facilities will include a sauna, fitness center, golf practice range, small library, and daycare center.

Gangneung Lotte Castle Signature is supplied as part of a private park special project developed together with Gyodong 7 Park. The private park special project involves creating at least 70% of an urban park site of 50,000㎡ or more as a park and donating it to the local government, while the remaining 30% is developed as residential facilities.

The 240,000㎡ Gyodong 7 Park, developed alongside the complex, will feature six themed forests and one walking trail, providing various cultural and leisure spaces. Additionally, the complex is close not only to Gyodong 7 Park but also to the Gangneung Namdaecheon stream flowing south of the complex. Gangneung Lotte Castle Signature is conveniently located near KTX Gangneung Station, offering excellent access to Seoul. Using KTX Gangneung Station, it takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes to reach Cheongnyangni Station and about 2 hours to Seoul Station. The nearby National Routes 7 and 35 provide easy access to Donghae Expressway and Yeongdong Expressway. Gangneung Intercity Bus Terminal is also adjacent.

The complex is situated to share the living infrastructure of Gyodong and Yucheon districts and the old downtown of Gyodong. The Donghae Northern Line Gangneung?Jejin railway construction project scheduled to open in 2027, the Gangwon-Honam high-speed railway between Gangneung and Mokpo, and the Gyeonggang Line high-speed railway connecting Gangneung and Incheon, scheduled to open in 2026, are planned.
