Selected SMEs to Receive Up to 500,000 KRW Monthly Employer Contribution Support for 5 Years
At the Gyeongbuk Love Naeil Savings Deduction Business Agreement Ceremony held on the 22nd, Chairman Kim Hak-do is speaking.
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Small and Medium Business Corporation (Chairman Kim Hak-do, hereinafter referred to as SBC) announced on the 22nd that it has signed a business agreement for the Gyeongbuk Love Tomorrow Savings Program with Gyeongsangbuk-do Province (Governor Lee Cheol-woo).
Both parties agreed to join forces to support long-term employment, the influx of talented personnel, and employment stability for core personnel of small and medium-sized ventures located in Gyeongbuk. The Tomorrow Savings Program is a system where small and medium-sized ventures and core personnel jointly accumulate a fixed amount monthly for five years, and upon maturity, the entire accumulated amount is paid to the employee as a lump sum. Employees gain opportunities for long-term employment and lump-sum savings, while companies benefit from stable retention of excellent core personnel, enhancing productivity and competitiveness.
Starting in June, Gyeongsangbuk-do will accept applications for the Tomorrow Savings Program from small and medium-sized ventures within the province, select 70 participants, and support the company’s contribution fee of 100,000 KRW per month for five years (up to 5 employees per company). SBC will be responsible for application reception, operation, and management tasks.
Chairman Kim Hak-do stated, "We will prioritize companies promoting carbon neutrality among the support targets for the Gyeongbuk Love Tomorrow Savings Program to lead the spread of ESG management culture in small and medium ventures and contribute to realizing carbon neutrality, which is the government’s policy direction."
