Held Online Again This Year...Free Viewing Available Worldwide
[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] The theme of the blockchain developer event 'Upbit Developer Conference (UDC)' hosted by Upbit, the largest cryptocurrency exchange in Korea, has been decided as 'Welcome to the Blockchain World.'
Upbit operator Dunamu announced on the 21st that the theme for the 4th UDC, held from September 1 to 2, has been decided as such. A Dunamu official explained, "It reflects the intention to share and discuss the changes caused by blockchain and the prospects it will create, and to embrace the era of blockchain as a trend."
UDC is the world's first developer-centered blockchain event. Over the past three years, more than 600 companies have participated, with attendees exceeding 7,000. The total number of UDC video views has reached 250,000.
As in previous years, this year’s event will also be held non-face-to-face (untact) through the official UDC YouTube channel. Not only blockchain industry workers but also anyone interested can watch it for free from anywhere in the world.
Currently, pre-registration is underway until August 18 on the official UDC 2021 website. Among the pre-registrants, 20 people will be selected by lottery to receive small prizes such as coffee gifticons.
A Dunamu official said, "This UDC 2021 will be an opportunity to look back on the countless innovations blockchain has brought to our daily lives and to share a more advanced vision."
