Lotte Construction announced on the 21st that it recently submitted a proposal for the Incheon Cheongna Medical Complex Town project as part of a consortium with Cha Hospital and Meritz Fire & Marine Insurance.
The Cheongna Medical Complex Town project involves developing a site of 261,635㎡ in Cheongna International City, Seo-gu, Incheon, to build a general hospital with more than 500 beds, along with medical bio-related office and commercial facilities.
The consortium includes Lotte Construction, Cha Hospital, Meritz Fire & Marine Insurance, Hyundai Construction, Kumho Construction, Haian Architectural Design Office, and Jeonglim Architectural Design Office.
The consortium plans to provide a differentiated "lifelong medical service" at Cheongna Medical Complex Town in collaboration with Cha Hospital, which has experience operating bio clusters and has established global-level healthcare services, alongside existing medical services.
Lotte Construction intends to complete Cheongna Medical Complex Town to world-class standards by utilizing its expertise in complex facility construction, along with cutting-edge construction methods such as BIM and drones, in partnership with Cha Hospital.
The consortium will apply Cha Hospital’s world-class medical expertise and Lotte Construction’s self-developed silver housing floor plans designed for an ultra-aged society, and provide various healthcare solutions and smart city services incorporating the latest smart technologies from LG Electronics and LG CNS, a leading company in the smart city sector.
A Lotte Construction official stated, "The Meritz Fire & Marine Insurance consortium consists of companies equipped with the capabilities necessary for the Cheongna Medical Complex Town project. We will combine Lotte Construction’s expertise in complex facility construction and Cha Hospital’s global-level healthcare services, along with the unique strengths of all participating companies, to develop Cheongna Medical Complex Town."
