New York Authentic Steakhouse Wolfgang Collaborates for the First Time in Korea
Gala Dinner and Steak Week Prepared for MZ Generation's 'Mukbang-cation'
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Paradise Hotel Busan announced on the 21st that it will hold a steak festival with New York authentic steakhouse 'Wolfgang Steakhouse' from the 24th to the 30th.
The 'Wolfgang Steakhouse × NIX' collaboration festival was planned for the first time in Korea reflecting the 'Mukbang-cation' trend led by the MZ generation. Along with Wolfgang Steakhouse's signature menu, known as one of the 'Top 3 Steakhouses in New York,' NIX's professional chefs will present steak course dishes and special menus using seasonal ingredients from Busan.
On the 24th, the 'Gala Dinner' will offer amuse-bouche featuring premium ingredients, followed by chop salad, okdom (tilefish) with bacon and Gijang seaweed, and fresh truffle pasta. The main dish features Wolfgang's porterhouse steak, dry-aged for 28 days using USDA Prime grade Black Angus beef, which is in the top 3% quality, accompanied by Busan Daejeo tomatoes and white asparagus. Wolfgang handmade tiramisu will also be served. Pairing wines selected by Vino Paradise can be enjoyed together. The Gala Dinner is limited to 40 guests by advance reservation and costs 290,000 KRW per person.
A 'Steak Week' featuring a harmonious selection of special menus will also be offered. Centered on Wolfgang's signature porterhouse steak dry-aged for 28 days, it includes chop salad made with over 10 kinds of vegetables, Wolfgang sizzling Canadian bacon, and seafood chowder soup. It will be sold to the first 50 customers from the 24th to the 30th, priced at 350,000 KRW for two people.
A representative from Paradise Hotel Busan said, "We expect that the collaboration between the globally acclaimed Wolfgang Steakhouse and the luxury hotel restaurant NIX, meeting for the first time in Korea, will offer the best steak dining experience." They added, "We will continue to actively collaborate to establish ourselves as a leading 'Mukbang-cation' destination providing differentiated culinary enjoyment."
