Turkey Surpasses 40 Million COVID-19 Vaccine Doses Administered

Fahrettin Koca, Turkey's Minister of Health, announced on the 19th (local time) through his social media that "the 40 millionth vaccine was administered at Istanbul Bayram Pasha Public Hospital."

Minister Koca added, "In the past 24 hours alone, 1,538,144 doses (first shots) of the vaccine were administered," and said, "The phrase our vaccination team said the most was 'Next person'."
