[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon-gu, completed the second dose of the AstraZeneca (AZ) vaccine at the Nowon-gu Public Health Center at 11 a.m. on the 18th.

As of June 17, the district reported that among 31,937 elderly residents aged 75 and over who consented to vaccination at two vaccination centers, 30,828 have received the first dose, and 18,548 have completed the second dose.

Additionally, since the 27th of last month, a total of 62,956 people aged 60 to 74 have completed the first dose at 155 designated medical institutions within the district, as efforts continue to ensure smooth vaccination progress.

The district is implementing various policies to increase vaccination rates, such as distributing vaccination certification badges and sending thank-you cards to those who have completed their second dose through vaccination centers and designated medical institutions.

Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon-gu, said, “We thank the residents who actively participated in the vaccination. We will do our best until the end to ensure that vaccinations for recovery to daily life are carried out quickly and safely.”
