[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seongbuk-gu (Mayor Lee Seung-ro) is currently recruiting regular bookings for the second half of 2021 at the 'Kkumbit Theater.'
Opened in April this year in Gireum-dong, Seongbuk-gu, Kkumbit Theater is a public performance venue in Seongbuk-gu that stages works recognized for both artistic quality and popularity, considering diverse tastes and age groups.
With 324 seats, a proscenium stage format, and an outdoor terrace rest area, it provides a comfortable and pleasant space to enjoy cultural and artistic performances.
From April 17, Kkumbit Theater held an opening festival for four weeks, featuring a variety of cultural and artistic works ranging from the 'Duo Concert' with Yurisangja’s Park Seunghwa and Travel Sketch’s Nam Junbong, violinist Han Sujin’s recital, the performance '264, She Speaks' about poet Lee Yuksa, to the family musical 'Aesop's Fables.'
The current regular booking period is from July 26 to December 31, and applications are open to groups and individuals planning to stage performing arts.
The application deadline is July 11.
Artists (groups) wishing to book the facility can download the application form from the Seongbuk Cultural Foundation website and submit it via email.
The selection results will be individually notified and announced on the foundation’s website around the end of July.
