On the 19th (Korean time), at Blyderfield Golf Club in Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA (par 72, 6,556 yards), during the second day of the LPGA Tour Meijer Classic (total prize money $2.3 million), she added 4-under par to stand tied for 16th place (8-under par 136). She boasted a 100% fairway hit rate and a 94.44% greens in regulation rate with her ‘precise iron shots.’ With 33 putts, it seems she lacked birdies. Adjusting her putting feel has become more urgent in preparation for next week’s major, the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.

It is remarkable that rookie Maguire collected one eagle and eight birdies (with two bogeys). She posted an 8-under par daily best. Koreans Jeon In-ji (27, KB Financial Group) and Choi Woon-jung (31, Volvik) are tied for 9th place (9-under par 135). World No. 1 Ko Jin-young (26) remained tied for 36th (6-under par 138), followed by Lee Jeong-eun 6 (25, Daebang Construction) tied for 39th (5-under par 139). Defending champion Brooke Henderson (Canada) was cut.
