'Shocking Confession' Hong Seok-cheon "Ex-boyfriend Was Married... Broke Up Due to Affair"

[Asia Economy Online Issue Team] Broadcaster Hong Seok-cheon recalled his first love, whom he divorced because of himself, on 'Sseol Survival.'

The KBS Joy entertainment program 'Sseol Survival,' aired on the afternoon of the 17th, was held under the theme 'The Villain of My Life.' The keyword that became a 'legendary sseol' that day was 'old age,' which was about a stepmother who demanded to be guaranteed even her old age.

After remarriage, the stepmother who treated him well changed her attitude when his father's business failed. Not only did she contribute to living expenses through part-time jobs since she was a student, but she also demanded a huge amount of living expenses at the marriage meeting. Eventually, the protagonist chose to break off the engagement with her boyfriend, but she was still having a hard time because of the stepmother's attitude demanding responsibility for her old age.

Hong Seok-cheon and the three MCs (Park Na-rae, Kim Ji-min, Hwang Bo-ra) could not hide their anger and sympathy for this story. Hong Seok-cheon sincerely advised, "If the relationship with the stepmother is too difficult and there seems to be no hope, I think you should draw a line."

Especially in this broadcast, besides the five keywords, the sixth (?) sseol brought by Hong Seok-cheon was revealed. It was a story about Hong Seok-cheon's long-time first love, a Dutch ex-boyfriend who had lied about being married.

Hong Seok-cheon started, "I've been through thick and thin, this is not just any story. It's a very old story from the 90s," and "My first love long ago was a Dutch national, and we were together for nearly four years."

He said, "We had just started loving each other, but it turned out he was married. Before that, he didn't know his own identity, but after meeting me for the first time and falling in love at first sight, he said he just realized his identity," which surprised everyone.

Hong Seok-cheon said he tried to break up after learning that his boyfriend was married, but the boyfriend had ended his married life, and they dated for four years. However, he eventually broke up because the boyfriend had an affair, which devastated the studio. He added, "The ex-wife asked to meet me," delivering a shocking revelation.

Also, Hong Seok-cheon shared a story about how, after coming out, he visited a gay club and was shocked to witness acquaintances he had been getting along with talking behind his back, which saddened the three MCs.
