SK Stoa signed a business agreement with Chungcheongbuk-do and the Social Enterprise Council to expand market access for social economy enterprise products and revitalize the local economy.
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] SK Stoa announced on the 17th that it has signed a "Business Agreement for Expanding Sales Channels of Social Economy Enterprise Products and Revitalizing the Local Economy" together with Chungcheongbuk-do and the Social Enterprise Council. Among home shopping companies, SK Stoa is the first to enter into a business agreement with Chungcheongbuk-do to strengthen the product competitiveness and support of social economy enterprise products.
These three organizations agreed to spread consumer awareness of Chungbuk social economy enterprise products and enhance customer accessibility. In mid-July, they plan to hold a product evaluation meeting exclusively for Chungbuk social economy enterprises, discover a total of two products, and actively support everything from quality control and product consulting for improving marketability to sales through home shopping.
Chungcheongbuk-do will establish a sales support plan for the advancement of social economy enterprise products in the province and focus on discovering products. The Chungbuk Social Enterprise Council will comprehensively support everything from product evaluation, sales method consultation, to managing distribution and affiliated stores.
Lee Si-jong, Governor of Chungbuk, said, "This agreement will serve as a stepping stone to open sales channels for social economy enterprises struggling due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic," adding, "We will spare no effort to support the expansion of non-face-to-face sales channels for social economy enterprises in the province."
Yoon Seok-am, CEO of SK Stoa, said, "We are pleased to be able to participate in creating success stories for social economy enterprises in the Chungbuk region," and added, "We will actively support revitalizing the local economy, which has been stagnant due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, so that these enterprises can achieve not only quantitative growth but also qualitative growth."
