KT Signs MOU for 'Real Estate AICC Business Cooperation' with Zigbang to Apply AICC Solutions
Improving Zigbang Operations Using KT's Speech Recognition, Personalized Speech Synthesis, and AI Voicebot Solutions
[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Eun-mo] KT announced on the 17th that it will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for business cooperation in the real estate AI Contact Center (AICC) sector with the comprehensive proptech company Zigbang. Proptech (Prop Tech) refers to real estate information provision and brokerage services combined with information technology.
Through this cooperation, KT will utilize its AI contact center solutions such as speech recognition technology (STT), personalized speech synthesis technology (P-TTS), and the soon-to-be-launched KT AI voice bot to automate Zigbang’s existing tasks and improve work efficiency.
Previously, Zigbang employees had to make confirmation calls themselves to check real estate listings in real time, but going forward, the KT AI voice bot will handle simple and repetitive listing confirmation calls, enabling more systematic management of Zigbang’s listing information. Additionally, the KT AI voice bot will transcribe call contents into text to enhance data management convenience for listing information. KT stated that through this, it expects to strengthen Zigbang’s listing information competitiveness, eradicate false listings caused by inaccurate information, and improve customer satisfaction for Zigbang users.
To this end, the two companies plan to ▲ build a KT AICC voice bot platform dedicated to Zigbang ▲ jointly develop partnership services combining KT AI big data technology and Zigbang’s real estate knowledge ▲ collaborate on product planning and marketing for new service commercialization. The KT AI voice bot service to be introduced to Zigbang is a service-type product that does not require the burden of direct system construction, allowing even companies that are not telecommunications or AI specialists to use cloud-based AI services simply by applying for the service.
Choi Joon-ki, Head of KT AI & Big Data Business Division (Executive Director), said, “We expect various cooperation cases using AI in the real estate sector through collaboration with Zigbang, a leader in proptech,” and added, “KT will expand AICC to more diverse industrial fields in the future to provide value such as work process automation, systematic data management, and support for data assetization.”
