[Asia Economy Reporter Suyeon Woo] LG Electronics has significantly expanded its lineup of premium refrigerators in the Objet Collection with top refrigeration and bottom freezing compartments.
On the 17th, LG Electronics announced the launch of a new Objet Collection refrigerator model featuring a new concept storage space called Magic Space located on both sides of the upper door. Customers can also choose a standard door design that applies only the harmonious colors and materials of the Objet Collection without additional features such as Knock-On Magic Space on the upper right door.
As a result, consumers can select from a total of eight combinations of Objet Collection top refrigeration and bottom freezing refrigerators according to their usage patterns and needs, based on the presence and number of features such as ▲new concept storage space Magic Space ▲Knock-On Magic Space ▲ice water dispenser.

The Knock-On Magic Space allows users to knock on the front of the door to turn on the interior light of the refrigerator compartment, making it easy to check the type and quantity of stored food. If the ice water dispenser is selected, users can use cubed and crushed ice from the dispenser on the door, and craft ice, which is round, from the bottom freezer compartment. Magic Space storage can be applied to one or both upper doors.
LG Objet Collection refrigerators apply 15 carefully selected colors by experts to harmonize not only with kitchens but also with the entire home space. For top refrigeration and bottom freezing refrigerators, customers can choose their desired Objet Collection color for each of the four doors.
LG Electronics is developing the Objet Collection colors in collaboration with Pantone Color Institute, a world-renowned color research institute in the United States. The calm and comfortable colors of the LG Objet Collection are popular across all generations, from the MZ generation to Generation X and the Baby Boomer generation.
To make it easier for customers to choose colors that match their homes and tastes, LG Electronics continuously introduces color packages curated by professional designers according to concepts, such as ▲Home Atelier Package suitable for sophisticated artist spaces ▲Home Garden Package for bright and emotional spaces ▲Home Cafe Package fitting modern and stable spaces ▲and Home Terrace Package composed of new colors Red Wood and Clay Brown.
Consumers can also select differentiated materials unique to the Objet Collection, such as stainless steel that offers a luxurious feel distinct from Fenix, which is mainly used in premium furniture. When moving or changing interior design, the front color and material of the product can also be changed to match the new space.
The price of the LG Objet Collection top refrigeration and bottom freezing refrigerator ranges from 2.6 million to 5.7 million KRW.
LG Electronics plans to launch an Objet Collection top refrigeration and bottom freezing refrigerator equipped with voice recognition features by the end of this month. This product allows users to open the refrigerator door and control the ice water dispenser functions by voice alone, without touching the appliance, providing convenience.
Yoon Kyung-seok, Head of Kitchen Appliance Business at LG Electronics H&A Division, said, "The Objet Collection refrigerator, which incorporates LG refrigerator’s advanced performance and convenient technology into space interior design, will provide differentiated value to customers."
