[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] The protagonists of the hero series produced by Marvel Studios in the United States appeared in the advertisement for Hyundai Motor Company's sport utility vehicle (SUV), the Tucson.
Hyundai Motor America (HMA) announced on the 16th (local time) that it is conducting an 'All New 2022 Tucson' advertising campaign in collaboration with Marvel Studios, a subsidiary of Disney.
The advertisement featured Loki (played by Tom Hiddleston), Wanda Maximoff (played by Elizabeth Olsen), and Falcon (played by Anthony Mackie), who took on the role of the new Captain America, all of whom appeared in the movie series 'The Avengers.'
This advertisement was produced according to the Tucson marketing concept of 'Ask Everything' and was designed to connect with the Marvel drama series 'Loki,' 'WandaVision,' and 'The Falcon and the Winter Soldier,' currently airing on Disney+.
Loki boarded the Tucson carrying the Tesseract, a powerful cube-shaped substance that appeared in the Avengers series. Falcon appeared by vaulting over the Tucson's hood and throwing Captain America's shield to defeat villains. Wanda Maximoff showcased her superpower of changing the color of the Tucson vehicle.
The advertisement commissioned by Hyundai from Marvel was produced in four versions: 60 seconds, 30 seconds, 15 seconds, and 6 seconds. The advertisement videos will be broadcast on TV and streaming platforms.
Angela Zepeda, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of HMA, emphasized, "It is an amazing opportunity to utilize characters and storylines from the Marvel universe in the Tucson advertisement."
Mindy Hamilton, Senior Vice President of Disney Partnership Marketing, also said, "We were dedicated to creating customized content for Hyundai and believe it will resonate with Marvel fans."
