[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Jeil Jemyunso, operated by CJ Foodville, announced on the 17th that it will launch two types of refreshing cold noodles and one type of warm Kalguksu.
Under the concept of "Summer Jeil Noodles to Overcome the Heat," they introduce "Inengchiyeol" style buckwheat fresh noodles in mul-naengmyeon and bibim-naengmyeon to cool down the intense heat, and "Iyeolchiyeol" style Kalguksu to warm the body from within.
"Jeil Mul Naengmyeon" features rich broth with a refreshing dongchimi flavor, topped with floating crushed ice and savory beef brisket boiled meat. The chewy buckwheat noodles and cold naengmyeon broth cool the body. "Myeongtaehoe Bibim Naengmyeon" harmonizes buckwheat fresh noodles full of buckwheat aroma with seasoned pollock sashimi mixed in a special sauce, stimulating the appetite with a spicy, sour, and sweet taste. "Bangkye Kalguksu" is Kalguksu served with richly boiled broth, half a domestic chicken, potatoes, and savory scorched rice. The hot soup and chicken provide an energy boost, making it a perfect hearty meal.
The three new menu items can be enjoyed as a special noodle set along with side dishes. "Jeil Mul Naengmyeon" and "Myeongtaehoe Bibim Naengmyeon" are offered as sets with flame-grilled pork, rolled egg, and yubu sushi. "Bangkye Kalguksu" is served with neatly grilled mung bean pancakes and seasoned squid jeotgal.
The new menu can be conveniently enjoyed via delivery apps such as Baedal Minjok, Coupang Eats, and Yogiyo, delivering the same taste as in-store dining.
