According to the Ministry of Economy and Finance's "Korean New Deal Major Project Promotion Plan for the 4th and 5th weeks of June" on the 16th, applications will be accepted from June 28 to August 6 for operators to establish an advanced unmanned automated platform utilizing the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), and big data, as well as agricultural machinery and infrastructure.
On the 22nd, the 34th Information Culture Month ceremony will be held, including an awards ceremony for contributors to information culture and a proclamation ceremony for the transition to a digital inclusive society.
In the Green New Deal sector, a basic plan for mudflat management and restoration (2021?2025) will be established to preserve mudflats and marine ecosystems, which are major greenhouse gas absorbers.
The announcement for the renewable energy dissemination support project, which has been ongoing since March, will close on the 30th of this month.
In the safety net reinforcement sector, to alleviate manpower shortages in promising growth industries or venture companies, applications for the "Youth Employment Special Incentive" will be accepted from the 28th. Up to 9 million KRW per year will be provided to support a total of 90,000 people.
An online recruitment briefing session will be held from the 28th of this month to the 15th of next month for youth and others wishing to work in venture and innovative companies.
Additionally, to ensure the successful operation of the Korean New Deal Fund, regional investment briefings will be held for three months starting from the fourth week of this month, guiding local governments' regional balanced New Deal major projects and the investment directions of entrusted New Deal Fund operators. These sessions will also be broadcast live on YouTube.
