Hanmok Design Contest Winners, Real-Time Broadcast 'Limited Sale'

Hanmok Design Contest Winners, Real-Time Broadcast 'Limited Sale' Provided by Korea Forest Service

[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Award-winning designs from the Hanmok Design Contest will be sold in limited quantities through real-time broadcasts (live commerce).

According to the Korea Forest Service on the 16th, the real-time broadcast will start at 3 PM, featuring four award-winning works from last year's Hanmok Design Contest, including cypress wood air fresheners and scented candles made from domestic wood.

However, the quantity of products available for sale is limited to 50 units per item, and sales will end once the stock is depleted.

To watch (and purchase) the live broadcast, install the ‘Grip’ app on your mobile phone, sign up as a member, and access the broadcast by clicking on the I LOVE WOOD campaign broadcast on the main screen.

During the broadcast, the Korea Forest Service will hold a wood-related guessing event, selecting 30 winners to receive coffee gift certificates, and the first 30 product purchasers will receive a wooden mechanical pencil.

Meanwhile, the Hanmok Design Contest is held to promote the excellence of wood and to activate the consumption of domestic wood.

The products sold through the live broadcast are works that won awards in last year’s contest.

Jung Jong-geun, head of the Wood Industry Division at the Korea Forest Service, said, “We hope that the live broadcast sales will be an opportunity to widely promote domestic Hanmok products to the public,” adding, “Even if you do not purchase products, please show great interest as there will be various prizes through the guessing event.”
