[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Maeil Dairies announced on the 16th that Cheongpa Eondeokjip, operated by Yori Inryu Co., Ltd., has started its first pizza sharing initiative for children in need and marginalized groups.

Yori Inryu is a KBS in-house venture company aiming for urban regeneration through cooking. To support urban regeneration, they deliver 200 free Hope Pizzas weekly to children and adolescents facing food insecurity in Yongsan-gu, Jung-gu, and Jongno-gu. Any child or adolescent holding a Dream Tree Card can visit Cheongpa Eondeokjip to enjoy a Hope Pizza.

Cheongpa Eondeokjip by Yori Inryu is an urban regeneration hub facility around Seoul Station established for "urban regeneration through cooking." Every week, they bake 200 Hope Pizzas and Hope Cookies and provide them free of charge to children and adolescents who bring their Dream Tree Cards.

The Jinam Social Welfare Foundation of Maeil Dairies sponsored approximately 32 million KRW in initial project costs to establish the Hope Pizza project. Additionally, they provide cheese free of charge, which is necessary to make about 200 Hope Pizzas weekly. Besides Maeil Dairies, leading domestic companies such as Naver support the project in various ways, including cooking ingredients, job creation costs, and delivery fees.

A representative of Cheongpa Eondeokjip said, "Cheongpa Eondeokjip, a store practicing positive influence, was able to start thanks to the quiet participation and support of several companies sharing the same vision. We hope many people who want to provide delicious and healthy food to the youth visiting Cheongpa Eondeokjip, and those who love positive influence and food, will visit us."

Meanwhile, Cheongpa Eondeokjip is emerging as a new "Instagram hotspot" among the MZ generation by selling Neapolitan-style wood-fired pizzas, salads, coffee, and more at prices cheaper than the market.
