Starfield COEX Mall's Byeolmadang Library has been hosting various events since the 31st of last month to celebrate its 4th anniversary.
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Starfield COEX Mall's Byeolmadang Library announced on the 16th that since the 31st of last month, it has been holding various events under the theme "A Journey for Myself" to celebrate its 4th anniversary, including large-scale art installations and travel book exhibitions.
Byeolmadang Library also offers online choir performances and talk concerts that can be safely enjoyed at home, providing moments of healing for those who are exhausted. The videos will be released sequentially until the 30th of this month on the official YouTube channels of Starfield and Byeolmadang Library.
The choir performance videos, released in five sessions from the 11th to the 17th, have been met with voices of encouragement and anticipation. The videos released from the 11th to the 15th have also gained great popularity, recording a total of 30,000 views in just five days.
The choir performances, held together with the National Choir, offer a healing concert that comforts listeners with beautiful lyrics and melodies, and can be enjoyed through a total of five videos. The performance carries the meaning of overcoming difficult times by joining forces, just like a choir creating beautiful harmonies as one. The song lineup includes "Mot Itj eo" and "Endless River Flows," which use poems by Korea's representative lyrical poets such as Kim Sowol and Kim Youngrang as lyrics, as well as "It's Okay," an original work by the National Choir.
In the talk concert, Chef Son Jongwon of the Michelin 1-star restaurant Lamang Secret talks about food, books, and the humanities under the theme of the meeting of food and literature. Live performances by a string quartet accompany the talk. The talk concerts will be held three times: on the 25th (Wandering), the 28th (Passion), and the 30th (Growth). Before the main talk concerts begin, the string quartet's performances will be pre-released over three days from the 22nd to the 24th. All videos can be viewed on the official YouTube channels of Byeolmadang Library or Starfield.
