[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] The Born Korea announced on the 16th that it will conduct a limited sale of 'Baek Jong-won's Damascus Chinese Knife (hereinafter 'Baek Jong-won's Chinese Knife'),' which combines luxurious materials and appearance. The sales period is from the 17th to the 22nd of this month.

Baek Jong-won's Chinese Knife is a product introduced in response to the surge in consumer interest in knives, one of the main kitchen utensils, as the 'home cook' trend of enjoying cooking at home has spread since COVID-19. The most notable feature is the use of 'Damascus,' a high-carbon steel stainless material.

Damascus is a material made by stacking 67 layers of steel and mild iron, boasting sharp cutting power and durability that resists rusting. The unique wave pattern created by the layered steel and mild iron is combined with Baek Jong-won's signature engraving, giving it a luxurious appearance.

Thanks to its excellent cutting power and the stability provided by its weight, it can be used for various dishes and is suitable for all types of ingredients, including vegetables, meat, and fish.

The first limited sale consists of 500 units, and the stock may sell out early once the prepared quantity is exhausted.
