[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] A man in his 50s who threatened a bus driver during operation, demanding change, and obstructed driving was caught on the spot on charges of assaulting the driver.

According to Busan Yeonje Police Station on the 15th, at around 10:50 p.m. on the 14th in Yeonsan-dong, Mr. A boarded city bus number 54 and tried to pay with a 10,000 won bill, but the bus driver Mr. B (in his 40s, male) said he had no change for the 10,000 won bill and requested another payment method.

Mr. A, who was intoxicated, ignored the driver's words, put the 10,000 won into the fare box, and cursed while demanding change.

Mr. A grabbed the partition of the driver's seat and threatened the driver, obstructing the bus operation for about 10 minutes over a distance of approximately 2 km.

Passengers who felt uneasy due to Mr. A's misconduct called 112. A total of six reports were filed regarding this incident.

Three patrol cars from the Togok Police Substation arrived at the scene and arrested Mr. A on charges of assaulting the driver (under the Special Act), stopping the dangerous act of threatening the bus driver.
