Yangcheon 50 Plus Center Opening in Second Half of This Year, Recruiting Lecture Content in Humanities, Social Sciences, IT, and Leisure for Middle-Aged and Older Adults... Submit Documents by July 16, 5 PM, Final Results Announced July 27
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Yangcheon-gu (Mayor Kim Soo-young) is recruiting individuals or organizations to provide lecture content for the ‘Dudream Classroom’ for the 50+ generation (middle-aged people aged 50 and over) to be held at the Yangcheon 50 Plus Center (609 Nambusunhwan-ro).
The comprehensive platform for middle-aged people, ‘Yangcheon 50 Plus Center,’ which will support overall activities for preparing the second half of life for residents aged 50 and over, is scheduled to be completed by the end of July this year within the Sinwol 6-dong complex building.
Through the Yangcheon 50 Plus Center Dudream Classroom, the district is looking for capable individuals and organizations who can share lecture content in various fields such as humanities, social sciences, IT, and leisure that resonate with the 50+ generation, providing opportunities for social contribution and career expansion.
The lecture topics to be recruited include various content that can enrich the lives of the 50+ generation, such as ▲life transitions ▲work and activities ▲social contribution ▲culture ▲leisure. Selected Dudream Classroom instructors will receive a modest lecturer fee.
Individuals or organizations wishing to apply can download the participation application form from the notice section on the Yangcheon 50 Plus Center website from the 15th of this month until 5 p.m. on July 16 and submit it via email to the person in charge (yc50plus@gmail.com).
The evaluation criteria include the suitability of the lecture for the characteristics of the 50+ generation, program distinctiveness, alignment with educational objectives and curriculum, and post-lecture scalability. Lectures with religious, political, or social purposes, or those overlapping or similar to nearby institutions’ courses, will be excluded from recruitment.
The results of the document screening will be announced after 5 p.m. on July 23, and after individual contact on July 26, an in-person interview will be conducted. The final screening results are scheduled to be announced after 5 p.m. on July 27.
