[Wando＝Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Kyung-pil] On the 14th, Wando-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that County Governor Shin Woo-cheol received the Grand Prize in the Communication category from the Manifesto 365 Campaign Korea Headquarters in 2021.
The Manifesto 365 Campaign Korea Headquarters has selected awardees annually since 2008 in three categories: 'Integrity, Communication, and Social Contribution,' aiming to create a healthy society through elections focused on policies and pledges as well as communication with residents.
In particular, the Communication category selects candidates who actively communicate with residents through various media such as websites and SNS by implementing pledges, informing policies, and operating resident proposal systems.
Governor Shin Woo-cheol is conducting open governance by directly communicating with residents through active administration on the ground, including the County Happiness Policy Talk, mobile county office operations, and visits to remote islands.
Especially, through online media such as the YouTube Wando Hope Channel and social media (SNS), he actively promoted key county policies, cultural and tourism resources, and specialty products, earning the honor of the award.
Governor Shin Woo-cheol said, “Our efforts to communicate with residents through various methods have led to the achievement of receiving the grand prize,” and added, “During the remaining term, I will listen closely to residents’ voices with a humble attitude and communicate closely to do my best in administration for the citizens.”
