DL E&C Returns to Remodeling Market with 1 Trillion Won Orders in Just Two Months

[Asia Economy Reporter Onyu Lim] DL E&C (formerly Daelim Industrial) has surpassed a cumulative order value of 1 trillion KRW just two months after returning to the remodeling market.

DL E&C announced on the 14th that it was finally selected as the construction company at the general meeting for the selection of the construction company for the remodeling of Yulgok Apartments in Sanbon, Gunpo, Gyeonggi Province, held on the 12th. The total construction cost is approximately 495 billion KRW (based on DL E&C's bid price).

Yulgok Apartments currently consist of 21 buildings from basement level 1 to ground level 25, with a total of 2,042 households. Through horizontal and separate building extension remodeling, it will be transformed into 25 buildings from basement level 3 to ground level 25, with a total of 2,348 households. The planned complex name is ‘e-Pyeonhansesang Sanbon Edufirst’. DL E&C proposed landmark exterior designs such as grid design, sky deck, curtain wall look, and grand gate, as well as differentiated community facilities including premium landscaping design, indoor golf practice range, fitness & GX room, and reading room for e-Pyeonhansesang Sanbon Edufirst.

Yulgok Apartments are located near Sanbon Station and Surisan Station on Line 4. The complex is surrounded by abundant living infrastructure such as elementary, middle, and high schools, large marts, commercial facilities, and parks, providing excellent residential conditions. Additionally, the area is planned for hub development around Geumjeong Station, a GTX-C transfer station.

DL E&C returned to the remodeling market by winning the Sanbon Ureuk Apartment remodeling project in May. Following the success of the Suwon Yeongtong Shinseong Sinan Ssangyong Jinheung Apartment project on the 5th of this month, DL E&C has achieved remodeling orders worth 1.0334 trillion KRW in less than two months since its return.
