[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] The top sales champion of DB Insurance last year was Hwang Geum-suk PA (insurance planner) from the Southern Business Unit. PA Hwang secured the position of the company's representative sales champion for two consecutive years.


On the 14th, DB Insurance announced that it held the ‘2020 DB Insurance Annual Awards Ceremony’ at the Grand Intercontinental Parnas Grand Ballroom, attended by about 50 PAs and executives.


DB Insurance selected 479 annual award winners among PAs with excellent sales performance and customer satisfaction indicators (retention rate, incomplete sales rate, etc.) and 453 members for the Hall of Fame.


The highest honor of the annual awards, the Sales Champion, was awarded to PA Hwang Geum-suk of the Southern Business Unit. PA Hwang, who has maintained diligent activities with a client base reaching 1,601 through consistent sales efforts, has been the sales champion for two consecutive years since 2019, having started insurance sales in 2005.


DB Insurance continues to operate various annual award selection criteria by category. This year, 69 recipients of the ‘Challenge Award,’ which is given to those who meet certain performance and customer satisfaction criteria (retention rate, incomplete sales rate) rather than a small number of top performers, and 453 DBRT (Hall of Fame) members were selected. The ‘Vision Club Award’ was given to sales members in their 3rd to 5th years to encourage continuous settlement and growth vision, and the ‘Customer Satisfaction Award’ was given to those excelling in customer management service, celebrating the DB Insurance sales organization’s achievements in various fields.


CEO Kim Jung-nam urged, “Overcome the current crisis wisely with the spirit of Shinhanbulran and challenge yourself toward bigger dreams with the determination of a new beginning.”


Meanwhile, this event was held in strict compliance with government quarantine guidelines amid the ongoing COVID-19 situation. Starting with the award ceremony for top award winners, it was conducted separately in eight regions until the 27th of last month.
