Signiel Seoul, Lotte Hotel Seoul and World Launch Subscription Services
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Yuri] Lotte Hotel announced on the 14th that it has launched subscription services at three luxury hotels in Seoul: Signiel Seoul, Lotte Hotel Seoul, and Lotte Hotel World.
Signiel Seoul offers private brand (PB) products, previously available only at Signiel brand hotels, through a subscription service. The service delivers 'Signiel 79' and 'Signiel 123 Blend Coffee,' coffee beans blended by a coffee master who has passed strict quality control, once a month to the subscriber’s desired location. The annual subscription fee is 864,000 KRW, which is a 20% discount compared to regular purchase prices.
Subscribers can also receive a diffuser featuring Signiel’s signature scent, 'A Walk in the Cloud.' It is a woody fragrance that is unique yet comforting. Considering the diffuser replacement cycle, one bottle is provided every two months for one year. The annual subscription fee is 475,200 KRW, a 10% discount compared to regular purchase prices.
Lotte Hotel Seoul offers a wine subscription service curated by Li Yong-moon, a national sommelier. The service is characterized by selecting wines tailored to the subscriber’s preferences through detailed consultation. Subscribers can choose between the White tier, which provides one wine per month, and the Red and Purple tiers, which provide two wines per month. The annual subscription fees are 600,000 KRW for White, 1,440,000 KRW for Red, and 3,600,000 KRW for Purple.
In response to increased home party demand and rising cake sales due to COVID-19, Lotte Hotel World has started a cake subscription service at its bakery Delica Hans. From July to December this year, subscribers receive one voucher per month redeemable for premium mango cake, premium strawberry cake, and other products. Cakes can be picked up after making a phone reservation at Delica Hans at least one day before the pickup date. The six-month subscription fee is 280,000 KRW, and applications are accepted until July 31.
