[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Ulsan City held the '3rd 100 Dads Group Launch Ceremony' at 2 p.m. on the 12th in the Citizen Hall.

Due to COVID-19 social distancing measures, the event was held online via YouTube.

Earlier, Ulsan City selected the '3rd 100 Dads Group' in May this year, targeting novice dads living in Ulsan with children aged 3 to 7 years.

The launch ceremony began with a congratulatory video from Mayor Song Cheol-ho, followed by the oath-taking of the 100 Dads Group, and a 100 Father Cooking Class where children and dads participated together.

The '3rd 100 Dads Group' will carry out systematic learning in five areas?play, education, health, daily life, and relationships?until the end of this year to promote the importance of both work and family and the necessity of shared parenting.

An official from Ulsan City said, "We expect that novice dads inexperienced in childcare will share their concerns and parenting tips, further spreading a culture of joint parenting between couples."
