Andong-si, Neighborly Welfare Center 'Gadeukhan Gage' Opens... Raising Funds for Village Community

Residents of Yongsang 6 Jugo Apartment Conduct Monthly Food Volunteer Activities

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-ho] Andong City announced on the 11th that the Neighborly Welfare Center of the Community Social Security Council (Center Director Jeong Cheol-hwan) recently opened the 'Gadeukhan Store' to create a communication channel with neighbors.

'Gadeukhan Store' is a volunteer activity place where residents of Yongsang 6 Jugong Apartment, one of the pilot project areas of the Andong City Neighborly Welfare Center, voluntarily participate to prepare food, package it, and share it with neighbors to raise funds for revitalizing the village community. It is scheduled to be held once a month.

Jeong Cheol-hwan, Director of the Andong City Neighborly Welfare Center, pledged, "We will actively work to build a caring neighborly welfare community filled with affection by fostering strong bonds through smooth communication among local residents and further preventing and solving local issues."

Kwon Young-se, Mayor of Andong City, stated, "We will do our best to create a welfare Andong where everyone is happy without anyone being left out through the establishment of a welfare community centered on residents."
