With the recent surge in vaccination rates and the promotion of the 'Travel Bubble' allowing group travel between countries with excellent quarantine measures, selected popular overseas travel destination products will be introduced.
On the afternoon of the 13th, Lotte Homeshopping will be the first in the industry to launch the 'Kyowon KRT Mediterranean Special Package' product. This includes a 7-night, 8-day tour of Turkey covering nine major cities such as Istanbul and Ankara, which are famous tourist destinations, as well as selected European travel destinations near the Mediterranean such as Italy for 5 nights and 6 days, and Spain for 6 nights and 7 days. The product is valid for two years from the date of lifting self-quarantine between the two countries and includes hotel accommodations, sightseeing packages, and meals throughout the itinerary.
On the afternoon of the 25th, the 'Interpark Prepaid Package Travel' will be sold. It covers worldwide travel destinations including Europe, the Americas, and Southeast Asia, offering airfare, hotels, and other expenses all included at up to 40% discount compared to the original price. Reflecting future customer demand for overseas golf rounds, a 'Overseas Prepaid Golf Package' will also be introduced, providing 54-hole round tickets at famous resorts in Vietnam such as Da Nang and Nha Trang.
Earlier, Lotte Homeshopping resumed overseas travel product sales for the first time in the industry by offering Novotel accommodation vouchers in Vietnam starting January this year. Subsequently, differentiated products were continuously launched, such as the Henann Resort in the Philippines achieving 1.4 billion KRW in order amount, and the Chamjoheun Travel Hope Package including over 400 overseas travel products worldwide reaching 15,000 reservations.
A Lotte Homeshopping official said, “We will actively participate in overcoming difficulties in the travel industry and continuously introduce products that allow customers to prepare for overseas travel at reasonable prices.”
