Yoo Yina's 'KLPGA's First Ever Record of Three Eagles~'

[Asia Economy Reporter No Woo-rae] "Three eagles in one round."

Yoon Ina (18, HiteJinro, photo) is the protagonist of this remarkable record. On the 8th, at the Grand Golf Course in Cheongju, Chungbuk (par 72, 6,162 yards), during the first round of the 6th stage of the KLPGA Grand-Samdae-in Jump (3rd division) Tour, Yoon Ina started at the 10th hole and made her first eagle at the 12th hole (513 yards), then added eagles at the 1st hole (542 yards) and the 7th hole (488 yards, both par 5). This is the first time in the KLPGA Tour that a player has made three eagles in one round.

In the final second round that ended on the 9th, she also made an eagle at the 12th hole, totaling four eagles. However, she made a painful bogey at the last 18th hole (par 4), finishing second with 10 under par 134 strokes, one stroke behind Jeon Hyun-joo B (18). Yoon Ina is a former national team member who turned professional this year and is currently playing as a provisional member. She won the Ilsong Cup Korean Junior Championship in 2017 and the Korean Women's Amateur Championship in 2019. She is aiming to join the regular tour next year after going through the Dream Tour this year.
